"Miles of Pennies" Mission Fundraiser
It’s time again to inform all about one of our annual Wesley Foundation Campus Ministry fundraisers! (This is an ALL year fundraiser.) The money raised through this fundraiser will help pay for the various missions projects during the school year for the Wesley participants from Longwood University, Hampden-Sydney College, & SVCC. Mission trips are a powerful part of our campus ministry program, not to mention the life-changing results they have on the participants.
If you decide to participate, we suggest that you ask your church to fill large containers with their pennies and other spare change. Simply place the container in your church, in a public place, marked “Pennies for Wesley Missions.” There is no set deadline for this fundraiser, but we ask that you periodically contribute what your church has raised so we may apply it to the expenses of our mission trips. You can bring them to us and we will count them, or you can take them to a bank, have them count them, and mail us the check.
